Module objectives/intended learning On successful completion of the course students should be able to:

  1. Explain the characteristics of “Ulil Albab” in the Quran.
  2. Reflect on the role and exemplary of UII’s founding figures, especially work ethics and role models to solve contemporary problems in the field of science they are engaged in.
  3. Explain the history of the development of Muslim thought and relate it to developments in the field they are engaged in.
  4. Formulate contributions in their respective fields of knowledge for the advancement of Islamic civilization in the present and future.
