Module objectives/intended learning On successful completion of the course students should be able to:

  1. Explain the relevant national regulations regarding the business in the field of herbal medicines
  2. Develop a business plan in the form of a business plan proposal or a business feasibility study
  3. Conduct analysis of business development and cooperation in the field of herbal medicine
  4. Conduct market analysis, develop promotion and marketing strategies, and apply good mass communication
  5. Develop innovative design for herbal products considering market needs and halal principles
Content This elective course is delivered to support program learning outcomes in attitude and general skill aspect related to entrepreneurial spirit in the field of herbal medicines development and production. This course covers topics on business opportunities analysis and the importance of collaboration and cooperation in building entrepreneurship in the field of herbal medicine development and productions as well as business feasibility studies. This course encourages the students to develop innovative product containing herbal products and take responsibility as well as work with discipline and honesty.
