Module objectives/intended learning By the end of this course students should be able to: 

  • contribute positively as part of team-workin performing pharmaceutical services in the field of clinical pharmacy
  1. apply the concept of pharmaceutical care in identifying problems related to the use of drugs in various cases of disease along with recommendations for prevention and or handling through various activities of pharmaceutical services in the field of clinical pharmacy in accordance permenkes no 72 year 2016 using appropriate literature and principled on evidence-based treatment.
Content The course will cover Settlement of     inpatient  cases  are  degenaritive  diseases   (diabetes mellitus,  hypertension),  chronic  infectious diseases  (HIV,  tuberculosis),  surgery (premedication,  prophylactic antibiotics,and wound healing),  diseases  with  narrow  therapeutic  index  drugs  (Epilepsy),  Chronic  Respiration disease,   Dehydration (e.g.   diarrhea),  emergency and  shockcases,  and  toxicity cases, and  cases  with  palliative  therapy 
Study and examination requirements and forms of examination Submission of laboratory reports is compulsory.
