Requirements according to examination regulations Participation and attendance in all practical and workshops in Practical of Pharmaceutic are compulsory. Students must pass all lab practical to pass the course.

Module objectives/intended learning By the end of this course students should be able to: 

  1. practice the steps of service  in self-medication using      over-the-counter    medicines,     limited-free,   and compulsory medicine pharmacies  with  full attitude of responsibility, dedication and discipline based on keikhlasan, honesty and integrity
  2. Prepare    prescription  drugs  according to  considering  administrative,  pharmacological,and  pharmacological  aspect
  3. perform  various  forms  of  non sterile compounding    (solid, semi-solid, and  liquid)  based on the principles of  Good Compounding Practice  by  considering  administrative,  pharmacological,and  pharmacological  aspects
  4. perform  various forms   of sterile  compounding  (reconstitution,  dilution,IV admixture, and  cytostatichandling) based on the principles of  Good Compounding Practice  taking  into account  administrative,  pharmacological,and  pharmacological  aspects
Content The course will cover :

  1. Drug dispensing cycle
  2. Pharmaceutical Calculation
  3. Good Compounding Practice
  4. Compounding non sterile
  5. Compounding sterile, IV admixture,  parenteral  nutrition,  cytostatichandling,  drug services  (non-prescription,    self-medicating   or  self-medication,and  prescription drugs),   reconciliation,  as well as  counseling.  
Study and examination requirements and forms of examination Submission of laboratory reports is compulsory.
